Dr. Isa DeArmas

Dr. Isa Monica DeArmas is a passionate and mutl-facted educator.

For over 36 years, she served as an elementary school teacher, assistant principal, principal, director of curriculum and instruction, assistant superintendent, educational consultant, and adjunct professor for Brandman University and California State University, Bakersfield.

Because of her personal elementary school student experiences as a multilingual learner, she is passionate about explicit language instruction, high-quality professional development to support administrators and teachers with effective instructional and leadership practices, and support for equitable strategies to increase student engagement, achievement, and positive behaviors.

Dr. DeArmas has a bachelor’s degree in Diversified Education, master’s degree in Educational Administration and a doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership.

Isa currently resides with her husband of 41 years in Middleton, Idaho after retiring from a rewarding educational career spanning over three decades. Although she has retired from the public school system, she continues to provide support for teachers and administrators as an educational consultant. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loves to read, dance, travel, and explore new adventures.
