Cynthia Cuprill Comas brings transformative facilitation skills, honed through a career in teaching and school leadership, to her role as Consultant for Schools Next. As a Keck Fellow, she earned a Master of Arts in American Studies from Pepperdine and she recently served as a Fulbright Fellow in South Africa. Throughout her career, she has intentionally served in challenging urban schools as a teacher, site administrator, county program specialist, and district administrator in order to increase liberty and justice for all who have been historically disenfranchised. Cynthia is committed to empowering and stretching students, educators, and administrators to wholeheartedly and confidently take next steps towards preparing for and fulfilling their potential.

During her personal time, Cynthia loves connecting with family and friends. She also prioritizes learning time and enjoys participating in new adventures that require leaning out of her comfort zone.
